East Coast based editor Shawn Beckwith is a graduate of the Canadian Film Centre Editors lab. With more than 15 years of experience, Shawn still enjoys spending his days collaborating with fun creative people on as many styles of films that he can edit. Some of these collaborations include Kevin Fraser’s Documentaries “Twenty Eight Feet: life on a little wooden boat” and “Invading Giants” and Taylor Olson’s First Feature Film “Bone Cage” which has travelled the world and won more than 50 awards.

Shawn had the pleasure of working with Taylor Olson’s on the Web series “King & Pawn” which premiered on Bell Media One during the summer of 2022 and the next feature film collaboration "Look At Me" which will be released in 2023. In 2023 Shawn was nominated for “Outstanding Achievement in Editing” award by Screen Nova Scotia.
